Sandra & Roger

Häringe Castle
Our Story
Roger & Sandra's love story began in the North of Sweden during a vacation to the famous Ice Hotel. They bonded over their shared love for traveling, discovering new parts of the world, and the love for their dogs. After a few years of dating and countless travels later, Roger decided to go down on one knee on a romantic gondola ride in Venice.
The couple planned a dreamy Swedish summer wedding at Häringe Castle, which has a special place in both of their hearts.
Häringe Castle
Häringe Castle, situated a mere 25-minute drive south of Stockholm, boasts a picturesque and idyllic setting. The castle is from 1657 and lies in the heart of Häringe.
The big city feels far away when you wander over the vast estates, neighboring the archipelago and the large nature reserve. The palace's magnificent surroundings and its history has been two of the larger attractions for both Roger and Sandra from the beginning.
Additionally, since animals are considered honorary guests at the estate, Roger and Sandra's love for both dogs and horses have been welcomed with open arms.
Why Häringe Castle
The Häringe Castle holds a very special place in both Roger & Sandra's hearts, and the couple has spent every Midsummer's Eve and New Year's there ever since they started dating. Aside from the castle being a beautiful place with a grand history, it is also quite unique due to the fact that dogs are just as welcome as human guests and allowed in all areas of the property.
Since Pondus, Brindie, and Milo are a big part of Roger & Sandra's family, the choice of where to spend Swedish holidays and other staycations was obvious.

Dress Code
Black Tie Optional
We know some of our guests would love to take the opportunity to dress up, while some might prefer a less formal attire. For Black Tie Optional weddings, men can wear a tuxedo or opt for a suit. Women can choose either a formal evening gown, a shorter cocktail dress, or dressy separates. Black tie optional allows for this flexibility, so please wear whichever outfit makes you feel most beautiful and yourself. Glitter and glamour are always appreciated, so feel free to dress up.
The bride and groom will have a change of attire before the evening celebrations, and that possibility is open (not mandatory) for anyone who ends up loving more than one option for the occasion.
We only ask ladies to please avoid wearing shades of white.
Speeches
If you would like to have a speech please let our toast master Marcus (m.weilid@gmail.com) know in advance so it can be coordinate.
